Book with the holistic therapist of your choice. Don’t know who to book with? Book with the founder, Alysha Dosanjh, and she will match you with an aligned holistic therapist to meet in person in Calgary or through a telehealth appointment.
2. About The Process
The consultation can occur online via video using the Jane App or phone.
3. Your First Appointment
Your therapist will work with you in creating your self-discovery plan. You can choose to have therapy in Calgary in person or virtually through telehealth.

What is Depression Therapy?
Depression is best described as focusing on the past; feeling as though you have become an observer of your life. This may often lead to regret and guilt. Depression can be caused for a variety of reasons. It may feel that it just began to creep on you. Maybe it was a result of trauma, or hardship. How We Can Help
Don’t worry, all of our depression therapy practitioners operate on a holistic perspective of therapy. Meaning, we will work with you in understanding the world around you which contributes to the negative thoughts formed as depression.
Depression is often treated through a modality called cognitive behavioural therapy, and behavioural activation therapy; commonly known as CBT. CBT for depression is used to challenge the thought patterns so innately created. By doing so, one can begin to understand negative thought patterns, reduce self sabotaging, and establish healthier and alternative thoughts. Behavioural activation aids in helping create small movement, and learning self compassion through the process.
During our depression counselling work together we will begin with an intake session in Calgary or virtually. At this first session, we’ll discuss why you chose to seek holistic depression therapy and your personal goals.
The process of depression therapy and CBT for depression holds a lot of uncertainty, and we are here to support you in every step of the way.
